This training program, designed for those with a passion for leadership, follows a multi-phase training approach to prepare qualified candidates for upcoming District Manager positions.
Program Design:
As a District Manager-in-Training, you will participate in a comprehensive 3-phase training program. The program includes hands-on experience as a Store Manager-in-Training and Store Manager, providing a solid foundation for your transition to the District Manager-in-Training role.
Phase 1 - Store Manager-in-Training: Develop a deep understanding of store operations, leadership, and team management.
Phase 2 - Store Manager: Assume the responsibilities of a Store Manager, honing your skills in decision-making, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
Phase 3 - District Manager-in-Training: Advance to the District Manager-in-Training position, engaging in focused learning activities and training disciplines, while effectively managing a store by meeting or surpassing key performance indicators (KPIs).
Note: Only candidates who achieve a "ready" status during each of the program phases will be considered for interviews when positions for advancement become available.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business or currently attending college/university in pursuit of a degree, preferred.
3-5 years of experience in a Multi-Unit Retail Management Capacity or a similar role.
Proven leadership skills and a genuine desire to advance into a District Manager role.
Successful completion of the Store Manager-in-Training and Store Manager phases.
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed performance standards and achieve specified goals.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Ability to effectively engage with individuals at all levels within the organization and external vendors.
Proficient in critical thinking, analytical skills, and mathematics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service and tend to customers in a prompt, efficient, friendly manner.
Adhere to and assist with Food Service daily production.
Crosstrain in deli, cafe, bakery, and cashier duties.
Ensure all fresh food items are in stock and meet quality standards.
Follow all food safety and dating procedures.
Train new Team Members and delegate work on assigned shift.
Sweep, mop, empty trash and clean as necessary, including restrooms.
Attend all mandatory/scheduled store meetings.
Ensure that safety and uniform policies are followed.
Keep up to date on new policies and procedures.
Enforce and practice cash handling procedures, loss prevention, and cash control policies.
Accurately process and maintain all paperwork involved in store operations.
Work with vendors and check-in, in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Communicate any questions, concerns, or issues to leadership in a timely manner.
Complete all assigned tasks and achieve shift objectives.
Delegate and oversee completion of all work on assigned shift.
Ensures all equipment is working safely and properly & call for service when necessary.
Work with Store Manager and department managers in achieving sales and profitability goals.
Maintain lot and walkways as needed in inclement weather.
Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
