of a substitue Custodian has the purpose of maintaining an
attractive, sanitary and safe facility for students, staff and public; providing equipment and

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Inspects school facilities for the purpose of ensuring that the site is suitable for safe

• Keep sidewalks clean, clear of snow and sanded for the safety of staff, students, and
community patrons.
• Assist with arrangment of furnishings and equipment for the purpose of providing adequate preparations for meetings, classroom activities, athletic events, and special events.
• Responds to immediate safety and/or operational concerns (e.g. facility damage, injured and ill students, alarms, etc.) for the purpose of taking appropriate action to resolve immediate safety issues and maintaining a functioning educational environment.
• Paints various surfaces as may be required (e.g. walls, ceilings, etc.) for the purpose of
maintaining facilities in operating condition.
• Repairs furniture and equipment (minor repairs) for the purpose of ensuring items are
available and in safe working condition.
• Assists other personnel for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work
activities.
• Prepares facility at end of day (e.g. closing gates, building access doors and windows, arming security systems, minor repairs, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring school facilities are secure.
• Ability to work in inclement weather, remove snow and prevent ice buildup using snow blowers, and shovels.
• Set up and remove furniture for special events and work with evening groups utilizing the
facility.
• Other job duties as assigned by the Facilities Director and School Principal(s).
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Washington State Driver's License required.
• Minimum of 1 year job related experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently and plan and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

About the role:
The Data Center Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and peak performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems within the data center facility. This role is essential to ensuring stable environmental conditions that support seamless data center operations.
Technicians will work outdoors in all weather conditions and must be self-motivated, proactive, and effective team players. In addition to HVAC maintenance, technicians may be assigned other duties as needed.
What you will be doing:
HVAC Equipment Cleaning
Perform comprehensive cleaning of HVAC systems, including air handling units, ductwork, filters, coils, fans, and condensers.
Use industry-standard techniques and materials to remove dust, debris, and contaminants, optimizing performance and efficiency.
Filter Replacement
Replace air filters on a scheduled basis to maintain optimal air quality and system functionality.
Keep detailed records of filter replacements and manage inventory to ensure timely replacements.
Condenser and Coil Maintenance

Perform daily/weekly/monthly walk-through of critical facilities in support of data center and office operations. Monitor critical facility equipment operation by these walkthroughs and building system monitoring tools. Execute repair and/or maintenance processes thru to completion.
Engineering, Implementation, Project Management of critical equipment; includes but is not limited to electrical switchgear, diesel generators, HVAC/CRAC systems, UPS systems, PDUs, RPPs, BMS systems, and fire alarm and suppression systems.
Provide on-site operation and manage vendors on installation, repair and maintenance of critical systems infrastructure equipment ensuring workplace rules and safety procedures.
Resolves technical issues that cannot be resolved through normal operations and maintenance procedures and provide leadership on outage calls to drive issue resolution and limit impact to customers. Ensures compliance to the customer's Outage Reporting Process and collaborate with Engineering, Product Development and the vendor technical organizations when required to drive long-term product improvements.
Provides technical guidance to junior Tier2 Engineers and technicians.
Supports the development and delivery of training programs and supports documentation to other departments on new operation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures
Provides reports on facility health, including capacities and space; keeping records to track and report on these items before critical capacities are affected.
Contributes to budget forecasting and long-term financial planning
Provides rack level power and cooling engineering for system installs and decommissions.

Pay: $17.13-$18.00 per hour depending on experience and education.
The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
