Short-term study programs through the Center for Community and Professional Learning prepare students to work in: * Veterinary Medicine * Emergency Medicine * Pharmacy Technology * Real Estate * Computer professions * Customer Service Academic programs, which include a number of degrees, may also be used as preparation for careers in Allied Health, Business and Computer Science. Academics are also used as preparation for transfer to a four-year university. As part of its commitment to serving all members of the community, Quinebaug also has the Learning in Retirement program, where those aged 50 and over may take enrichment classes. Those seeking admission to credit programs will need to submit an application, take a skills assessment test for placement purposes, and interview with a Quinebaug counselor. Those who wish to enroll in non-credit, short-term courses may simply register online. Financial aid is awarded through federal aid programs, which are primarily need-based and include grants and loans. Students who have a grade point average of at least 3.0 may also apply for scholarships.
