Our MedTech Field Service Technician experiences a unique opportunity employ their technical experience by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and updating medical devices inside of hospitals, pharmacies and other clinical settings. The current product line being supported is an
automated medication dispensing system.
This is an ON-CALL, Field Service Technician opportunity with approximately 20-25 hours per week. While the hours are estimated and need is not guaranteed, this is historically the need.
What you will be doing in the role:
Troubleshoot and repair existing devices and document the activities performed.
Replace hardware parts, as well as software updates and calibrations.
Perform bi-annual or yearly preventative maintenance as determined by the customer.
Assist in the installation and implementation of new devices at customer locations.
Conduct routine system checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
Maintain and stock parts and tools assigned by customer.
Be available on-call including nights and weekends.
Training for this role will be provided and is paid
Job Requirements:
Must have intermediate troubleshooting abilities in the disciplines of electronics, mechanics, and electromechanical systems.
Experience as a military technician, computer technician or other complex electronics technician preferred. Experience supporting automation equipment in a healthcare setting is a plus.
Experience in healthcare, field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, customer service, pharmacy technician, electronics, electrical, technical work, or IT is beneficial for this position.
Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer support.
This position requires a considerable amount of pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, and lifting to 70 LBS
Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of vaccination status, required
Travel Requirement:
Travel locally for up to 2-3 hours to support customer needs.
Respond to and arrive at customer sites within the service ticket's Service Level Agreement (within 4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours per the details of each ticket)
Must have an active driver license and a personal vehicle to use for job related assignments
Travel, and your time traveling is paid, as is mileage.

Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives:
Provide support for the regulatory department to ensure efficient and compliant business processes and environment.

Depending on specific role, the Regulatory Affairs Specialist may be involved in various regulatory activities (review of documentation; regulatory submissions and follow-up; evaluation of product and manufacturing changes for regulatory implications; maintaining annual licenses, registrations, listings with regulatory IT systems management and data analytics.

May provide direction and guidance to exempt and/or skilled non-exempt levels of employees;

Interface with a variety of management levels on significant matters, often requiring the coordination of activity across organizational units.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is required - preferred area of focus in science (biology, chemistry, nutrition, dietetics, microbiology, immunology, medical technology, pharmacy, and pharmacology), math, engineering, or medical fields.
Preferred
2-3 years of experience in a regulated industry (e.g., nutritionals, medical products). Regulatory area is preferred, but may consider quality assurance, research and development/support, scientific affairs, operations, or related area.
Note: Higher education may compensate for years of experience or vice versa.

Respond to machine breakdowns due to electrical malfunctions or hardware/software failure
Conduct preventative maintenance tasks for all electrical equipment and instruments

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Understand business strategies and capabilities for Manufacturing environments and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Contribute to development of roadmaps containing sequencing of IT solutions working towards the achievement of the business strategies.

Main Responsibilities

Facilitate communications flow between IT and Business. Understand the internal and external customer bases and provide a balance between business and IT centric advocacy.
Ensure good project governance & execution, partnering with Corporate IT function, with monthly reporting ensuring justification of deviations and providing feedback to functional stakeholders.
Document business processes and requirements in support of roadmap development and project initiation.
Secure firm knowledge transfer of project drivers, business processes, and business requirements to delivery teams at project initiation
Work with BRM leadership and business SMEs to establish priorities on IT initiatives.
Initiate and manage Project Requests in support of roadmaps and individual work efforts
Actively identify and document business process improvement and tangible benefits in support of project requests
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or another discipline relevant for the healthcare industry or equivalent experience.
7-8 years of IT and Manufacturing/Engineering experience in large or midsized multinational Health Care or Consumer Goods organization.
Experience with MES POMs application in system deployment, recipe design and project planning
Previously worked with large scale MES programs using Poms MES systems or other MES systems
Working experience of validation processes for software delivery in life sciences arena.
Preferred
Deep experience in production support or deployment of manufacturing and or process control systems
Broad knowledge in Supply Chain business processes and technologies
Previous experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems is preferred

The Opportunity
This position works out of our Columbus, Ohio Easton Square location in the Nutrition Division.
Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives:
Provide technical and analytical support for customs and trade compliance matters at the site/division level, ensuring compliance with all relevant customs regulations and trade laws and regulations, including 19CFR, 15CFR, FDA, USDA, and other US regulatory agency requirements.
Operates with general direction and supervision from the Manager. Incumbent is accountable for compliant importation of goods and services (including machinery), as well as proper classification and valuation. Failure to comply is a violation of law and could result in significant fines or penalties.
This employee must have the ability to analyze opportunities and make recommendations on options and/or alternatives to achieve divisional financial objectives. The Analyst will be privy to highly confidential financial information and must work within the scope of attorney/consultant and client privilege, where deemed appropriate. The proper balance between cost optimization and compliance must be maintained.
What You'll Work On
Major Responsibilities:
Applies working knowledge of import and export regulations and requirements to support business needs. Capable of processing imports, for a minimum of 2-3 desk, or exports of all types, in compliance with GTC and Division policies and procedures.
Consolidate and analyze import and non-commercial export data to identify risks or opportunities for savings. Prepare reports and make recommendations to management, as appropriate.
Review and analyze import/export documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Participate in shared responsibility for import and export processing, with all other I/E Processors, including coordinated coverage during holidays.
Ensure timely and accurate response to Broker Requests for Information (BRFI) and follow-up to ensure resolution.
Classify products using Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes and ensure proper valuation.
Proficient in writing classification (HTSUS/Schedule B) diligence memos.
Proficient in writing country of origin determination diligence memos.
As directed by Manager, implement appropriate corrective actions in response to any findings in the Corporate C&TC compliance assessment.
Interface with related functional areas (logistics, purchasing, materials management, etc.) on customs matters and coordinate training for personnel in these areas, as needed.
Daily monitoring of import shipments including customs clearances, CBP Requests for Information, Post-Entry Amendments (P8D) Proof of receipt and Proof of payment, and PSC.
Conduct effective and timely transactional review/audit of all import records. Elevate issues requiring correction to Corporate C&TC.
Provide analytical support to general import-related projects, as needed.
Personally educate self on latest Customs, FDA, and other government agency import regulations.
Consistently develops accurate and appropriate documentation in support of imports and exports, as appropriate.
Prepare reports and metrics related to compliance performance.
Thorough understanding of GTC and Division compliance policies and procedures.
Attends key annual departmental training - HTSUS classification, FDA Product Code, Incoterms, etc.

OVERVIEW
The Batch Record Auditor is responsible for auditing and assuring accuracy of production records. It is the responsibility of the auditor to verify presence of all necessary documents within each production record file and provide feedback to the responsible department when there are discrepancies, errors, or omissions. Further, this individual maintains databases and files to assure retrieval is accurate and timely when information or metrics are requested. Production records are to be compliant with plant procedures and good manufacturing practices.

Reviews work orders for completeness and compliance to all Ross policies, procedures, IOP requirements and Government regulations.
Initiates NCMR's, SQE's and PIR's and route to Sr.
Batch Auditor or Supervisor for disposition.
Follows up on all issues to assure each is addressed and completed prior to submission of work order to supervisor.
Enters and maintains work orders, NCMR's, SQE's, Discrepancies and Alert levels into the RBA system.
Ensures holds and isolation have been initiated as required.
Works with appropriate personnel for sampling plans, initiate sample requests, write inspection and reworks.
Uses CAMBAR and Amaps to adjust or obtain release status for specific batches.
Audits and maintains records for non-batch log related items (i.e.: Tank Temps, CIP charts) Identifies and communicates withmanufacturing personnel and management any issues or discrepancies that may require workorder changes.
Trains new employees where needed.
Completes COA's for Abbott Intl. and DQA.

The Auditor is responsible for the complete audit of the work orders in Quality Systems.
