Senior Director, Enterprise Architecture
We have an opportunity for a Senior Director, Enterprise Architecture to join our IT Leadership team in Santa Clara, CA (HQ), Tacoma WA, or remote, and reporting to the CIO. In this pivotal role, you will shape the architectural foundation that enables agility, scalability, and resilience across our digital platforms. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of software architecture experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles within high-growth tech environments
Proven expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures on AWS, Azure or GCP
Strong knowledge of microservices, API design, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
Familiarity with architecture frameworks and modern design methodologies
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience scaling distributed systems in high-availability, high-traffic environments

The Sales Engineer is the Technical Lead for the Proofpoint Pre-Sales process, including:
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute targeted account penetration strategies
Build trust and rapport with customers and prospects in person, and be their main technical point of contact throughout the process
Deliver compelling product demonstrations that address today's most pressing cyber threats
