When not driving, this position supports our shipping & receiving department as well as general warehousing responsibilities for the support of day-to-day facility and service operations. Essential Functions Driver service support, pick-up's and deliveries Frequent vendor will-calls and jobsite deliveries using company vehicles Delivery area is in the Bay Area Pull, label, stage parts needed by Service Department for daily activities Re-inventory all unused material returned from job sites Ensure all inventories are labeled and placed in the proper location Conduct daily walk through ensuring safety hazards are eliminated, area is clean & orderly, and all items are properly stored Maintain/operate warehouse-based forklifts and service vehicles Ensure company vehicles are kept clean, and in safe and professional manner Occasional facilities work as needed Access information on a computer Keep shipping and receiving area clean/stocked Making sure the shipping and receiving of all orders is done in a timely manner. All items should be received into the system the same day they arrive. All shipments for office should be checked in and taken over to proper staging area in building Receive/inspect/properly store incoming shipments Stage received materials for service department jobs Getting all freight charges added to the picking list in a timely manner Getting all stock items put away in their proper places. Make sure that all safety rules are being followed Assist employees with finding parts they need Make sure we have adequate shipping supplies on hand at all times Prepare/schedule outgoing shipments Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned by manager Work Environment This job operates in a professional work environment. The Aftermarket Salesperson works outside of the office three to four days a week. This position reports to The Aftermarket Sales Manager. Provide quotations to customers, assist the department's personnel, dispatcher and assist with scheduling of work and monitor billings, costs, and inventory, related to the job quotations. Responsible for appraising the customer's service needs for the repair of various products including boilers, burners, boiler accessories, and other heat producing equipment including any other product offerings. The successful candidate must be willing to further their knowledge in product line area. Responsible to provide boiler sizing and application support, with the assistance of the equipment salesperson, as needed on the various boilers to assist in proper equipment operation and selection.
