Build and manage your book of business-handling all aspects of the transaction from cradle to grave

Determine verticals or niches to begin selling into for the branch

Create a high-performance team atmosphere that fosters innovation, high productivity, and low turnover
Set and monitor team performance to ensure annual goals and objectives are achieved
Effectively supervise and manage direct reports by providing team leadership and motivation
Evaluate and communicate team member performance levels through formal and informal procedures including regular leadership and management meetings, 1:1 meetings to provide leadership development, and a forum for communication to ensure coordination and collaboration in meeting individual and organization goals
Ensure annual team member performance reviews are conducted in a timely and effective manner
Evaluate performance of team members for compliance with established policies and objectives of the organization and contributions in attaining objectives
Develop high functioning teams by focusing on service, team morale, teamwork, and a positive culture
Ensure Watco Logistics operating procedures and protocol are adhered to
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & ABILITIES

A 4-year college degree in a relevant field; or commensurate industry experience
Transportation or supply chain related experience preferred

Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Manages project engineering activities to ensure they comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule

Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of construction industry engineering experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction or Project Management; an advanced degree is a plus (In lieu of a degree, extensive experience in the military, railroad/construction, or related field will be considered)

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction or Project Management; an advanced degree is a plus (In lieu of a degree, extensive experience in the military, railroad/construction, or related field will be considered)
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of basic project accounting, project controls (cost, schedule, change management, etc.), material management, contract management, subcontract management, safety, and quality.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Education / Training
* High diploma or equivalent plus work experience.
* Associates or Vocational degree in a mechanical or electrical field or industrial maintenance or a combination of education and experience.
Key Job Elements
* Perform emergency/reactive repairs of production equipment and conduct follow-up evaluations to assess effectiveness of repair;
* Maintain equipment according to Preventative Maintenance program and maintenance work orders;
* Responsible for facility maintenance;
* Complete and submit maintenance documentation and issue new improvement opportunities for review;
* Provide ideas and solutions to unplanned equipment downtime through design change, inspection techniques or conditional monitoring;
* Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic controls;
* Read and understand equipment manuals, design drawings and electrical schematics to complete reactive and preventative maintenance;
* Assist in 5S to optimize productivity and sustain a safe and efficient working environment;
* Comply with all plant safety, OSHA and environmental regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
* 5+ years of manufacturing/maintenance experience;
* Knowledge and familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment;
* Proven fabrication and welding experience;
* Proven industrial maintenance experience;

* Strong attention to detail;
* Willingness to learn new techniques, processes and procedures;
* Competence in computer skills;
