Being surrounded by books and talking with customers.
Micromanagement and bullying. Too many mini- managers. No one ever says anything nice and no one ever says you did a great job today. Constant criticism. Not open to staff meetings to discuss ideas/suggestions. As old school as it gets. The internal culture is very, very different than one might assume.
No clue. No one talks to you. Everyday I was treated as if I were stupid or beneath them.
Overhaul. Need all new leadership. Maybe bring in a workplace consultant.
Minimum wage is just that. Doesn’t matter if you are smart and can sell, minimum wage is it. Might be better to work on commission to weed out the bad seeds.
I don’t this this is an issue.
