Summary
Responsible for all inputs into Finance for Corporate Forecasts - staffing plans, attrition factor, contract accruals, balancing to targets

Position Overview
The Project Investment Analyst will be a key member of the Supply team, providing modeling, analytical, and transaction support to the investment team. Key responsibilities will include assessing, documenting, and tracking project investment opportunities and managing portfolio investments. This is a role for an ambitious candidate seeking to apply their existing experience in infrastructure or project finance to carbon projects, with developmental opportunities to build a career as a carbon project investor.
This is a hybrid position - candidates must be based within one hour of our New York City, Los Angeles, or San Francisco office
Key Responsibilities
Support senior investment team members in the assessment and due diligence of project and portfolio investment opportunities (including green-field development and operating assets).
Assist with data collection, research, and analysis of financial, industry, and market information relevant to new investments.
Prepare and update financial models and investment committee presentations.
Participate in the preparation of portfolio tracking documents and performance evaluations.
Contribute to the drafting of industry and sector analysis reports, presentations, and investment memos.
Aid in the documentation of transaction execution and compliance-related tasks.
Maintain internal databases and ensure that all investment materials are complete and organized.
Monitor market, regulatory, and industry trends relevant to portfolio assets and future investment opportunities.
Perform other analyst duties as assigned to provide well-rounded exposure to the investment process.
Required Skills and Attributes
2-4 years of experience in project finance related to ideally related to carbon projects, renewable energy, or other sustainable infrastructure
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with familiarity in financial modeling and Excel.
Demonstrated interest in infrastructure, renewable energy, sustainability, or investments.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication abilities; able to present information clearly and concisely.
Eagerness to learn from senior team members and accept constructive feedback as part of an ongoing development process.
Ability to gather, organize, and interpret large amounts of data.
Team-oriented mindset, collaborative approach, and willingness to support various project and administrative tasks.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.

Compensation
The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $100,000-$135,000, commensurate with experience. The actual offer will reflect a total rewards package, including long-term incentives and excellent benefits, determined by a variety of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and equity considerations.

Position Overview:
NRG is seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative, and purpose-driven professional to join our Corporate Philanthropy team. This role will support the operational and programmatic execution of NRG's philanthropic initiatives, with a focus on leveraging NRG's corporate citizenship to inspire engagement, enhance reputation, strengthen our brand, and advance business goals.
Reporting to the Leader of Operations and Corporate & Enterprise Programs, this role will play a key role in managing processes, coordinating projects, and supporting data and communications that bring our giving pillars to life across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Support
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the corporate philanthropy team, including documentation, systems, and process improvements.
Project Management & Coordination
Support the planning and execution of enterprise-wide philanthropic programs and initiatives, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
Grant Process Management
Coordinate grantmaking workflows, including application tracking, approvals, payments, and reporting.
Data Management & Visualization

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
