Job DescriptionJOB PURPOSE: The Head Start bus driver transports students to and from Head Start centers and other approved sites while ensuring the safety of passengers. School vehicles are cleaned and maintained in a safe, orderly manner and operated in accordance with all applicable regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Possesses knowledge and expertise resulting in continuous improvement of efficient and effective services.
Ensures quality services are delivered through seamless interaction with all stakeholders.
Ensures school transportation vehicles, including handicapped accessible vehicles, are operated in a designated route within time schedules and in accordance with all applicable regulations.
Sees that documentation and recordkeeping are timely and accurately completed and maintained as required by program policies and procedures.
Responsible for ensuring agency property is properly maintained.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a valid driver's license with no points against license or condition of any moving violations within the past two years; must ascertain no involvement in injury or property damage accident of own responsibility within the past two years.
Must possess personal liability insurance.
Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License.
Must possess a valid First Aid/CPR certification.
Must be able to lift/manipulate/move objects weighing no more than 60lbs. from one place to another.
Must be able to lift from the floor to 18in. above the shoulder.
Must have the ability to comprehend, process, interpret, and carry-out instructions related to the job.
Vision sufficiently correctable to permit full performance of all job duties required.
Strong communication skills required.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Thursday; 4 hours per day.
PAY:
$19.05 per hour.

JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS: The Targeted Case Manager's primary duty is to provide case management services to families in the Family Recovery Court Program. TCM will assist the individual/family with obtaining access needed to support their needs. The Case Manager must be able to assist the individual/family with obtaining needed access to housing, medical, social, educational and other identified services. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide case management services for families that are targeted at the identified needs of the individual and/or family.
Conduct comprehensive assessments, and reassessments to determine the need for housing, medical social, education and other identified services.
Develop and individualized case plan for each individual and/or family that is based on the assessment. The plan will specify the goals and activities that address housing, medical, social, educational, and other services identified
Administer Program Evaluation Assessments according to a pre-determined schedule. Administer observed Urinary Drug Screens weekly. Refer the individual/family to services that address the areas identified in the assessment. This may include scheduling appointments for the individual/family and ensuring transportation is available for appointments.
Monitor and follow-up with the individual, family members and other service providers. Update the case plan as needed.
Identify community resources and develop cooperative relationships with other social service providers
Represent agency programs, policies and procedures accurately in the community and with other social service agencies.
Maintain accurate case records, which include proper documentation of all meetings with clients.
Ensure that all documentation complies with KY Medicaid and accreditation standards. Attend Family Court and Family Recovery Court dockets weekly.
Conduct Life Skills classes with participants in Phase 3 of the program.
Participate in weekly case conferencing and provide updates on all assigned individuals and/or families.
Participate in bi-monthly supervision with TCM billing supervisor. Participate in weekly supervision with direct supervisor.
Participate in monthly staff meetings and/or training courses. Attend annually required training to maintain TCM certification. Maintain certification requirements for TCM pursuant to Kentucky Board regulations.
Assist with special projects assigned. Assist with reporting requirements as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS: The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program assists Veterans who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness end their housing crisis. The goal of the Housing Navigator is to support SSVF's main goal to end homelessness amongst Veterans. This position will actively work with area VA HUD-VASH teams to identify landlords and community partners who are willing to connect Veterans with and maintain long-term housing stability and self-sufficiency. This position is responsible for navigating the multiple vulnerabilities of Veterans experiencing homelessness, in the pursuit of housing stability by advocating for participants. Additionally, the position requires active promotion of housing justice, creating housing security through action and advocacy, and providing culturally inclusive, trauma-informed services to all participants.
A Bachelor's degree in social work or related field and less than five (5) years of experience in the field; at least five (5) years of experience in the field and no degree; or a Veteran with three (3) years of related work experience.
You must have a demonstrated ability to provide a reasonable combination of the following knowledge, abilities, and skills: ability to access local resources, advocacy, working cooperatively with local service providers, knowledge of problems associated with target population, effective communication, ability to exercise tact, diplomacy, judgement, discretion, and honesty, and have a commitment to the principles of the SSVF program.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high degree of organization, and creative problem-solving skills. Must have a personal automobile, valid driver's license, liability insurance, and be willing and able to travel between counties served by the project, up to 90% of the time. Must complete required training within 90 days of hire.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as a liaison between local HUD-VASH teams, attending all case conferencing with both HUD-VASH and SSVF teams and locally coordinating and planning to be responsive to the needs of unhoused Veterans in the service area.
Advocate with local public housing authorities.
Build partnerships with community partners, service providers, and government agencies to increase access to long-term, sustainable housing.
Conduct outreach to identify housing resources.
Understand the barriers that clients in both urban and rural areas face and how to best service clients in both of these areas.
Demonstrate ability to work with Veteran families, experiencing homelessness, of diverse cultural/ethnic backgrounds with sensitivity to their individual housing needs.
Responsible for explaining, interpreting, and applying for HUD-VASH and Section 8 programs.
Advocate for Veteran and act as liaison while working with landlords, rental agencies, community organizations, and other service agencies.
Read, interpret, and explain rental contracts between Veteran and landlord, ensuring the contract is fair and capable.
Work in partnership with other SSVF Case Managers, Intake Coordinators, and Outreach Workers; and participate in regular case consultation.
Develop cooperative arrangements with government agencies and community partners in providing housing for homeless families.
Conduct all housing inspections on eligible units.
Serve as a resource for housing education and support tailored to the needs and desires of the Veteran.
Provide housing education services, materials, and referrals to Veteran and their family, based on individual needs. The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program assists Veterans who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness end their housing crisis. The goal of the Housing Navigator is to support SSVF's main goal to end homelessness amongst Veterans. This position will actively work with area VA HUD-VASH teams to identify landlords and community partners who are willing to connect Veterans with and maintain long-term housing stability and self-sufficiency. This position is responsible for navigating the multiple vulnerabilities of Veterans experiencing homelessness, in the pursuit of housing stability by advocating for participants. Additionally, the position requires active promotion of housing justice, creating housing security through action and advocacy, and providing culturally inclusive, trauma-informed services to all participants.
* A Bachelor's degree in social work or related field and less than five (5) years of experience in the field; at least five (5) years of experience in the field and no degree; or a Veteran with three (3) years of related work experience.
* You must have a demonstrated ability to provide a reasonable combination of the following knowledge, abilities, and skills: ability to access local resources, advocacy, working cooperatively with local service providers, knowledge of problems associated with target population, effective communication, ability to exercise tact, diplomacy, judgement, discretion, and honesty, and have a commitment to the principles of the SSVF program.

Job DescriptionJOB PURPOSE: The Head Start Instructional Assistant is responsible for implementing instructional experiences, under the direction of the Head Start Teacher, for preschool children for adequate development in the social, emotional, physical, and educational processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Possesses knowledge and understanding of early childhood development.
Assists to ensure every child is engaged in and challenged by a variety of learning experiences.
Completes required annual training and professional development hours.
Promotes the development of and ensure that English Language Learners make significant progress in their primary language and English.
Assists in incorporating each child's interests into planning classroom activities.
Assists in maintaining a safe and healthy environment which supports the development and learning of preschool children while maintaining teacher-child ratios in compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards.
Assists the Teacher in the assessment of children.
Assists Teacher with the timely and accurate completion and maintenance of documentation and recordkeeping.
Promotes staff relationships which allow a climate conducive to learning.
Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in a team environment.
Experience working with children.
Reliable transportation is required.
Works well with individuals of all cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Background check/pre-employment screenings required.
SCHEDULE:
8-hour shift, Monday-Friday.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (or enrollment in a CDA credential program with an anticipated completion date within 2 years of hire) (required).
