Position Overview The Sales and Estimating Manager will lead the sales, estimating and marketing divisions of Radco Roofing and provide strategic and operational leadership for the entire commercial roofing sales process. This role is accountable for sales and estimating performance, margin discipline, forecasting accuracy, team development, and alignment with the Production and Service operations teams. The Sales and Estimating Manager is a senior sales leader who drives execution and growth through others, establishes scalable sales and estimating processes, and ensures consistent delivery of profitable, well-executed projects and industry-leading customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Leadership focused management style with a passion for developing industry-leading sales and estimating professionals and related processes. Lead the weekly cadence for sales activity, pipeline reviews, forecasting, and accountability Maintain a high close rate through process discipline, proposal strategy, follow-up systems, and coaching Identify gaps in coverage, skills, and execution; implement training and performance coaching Lead, develop, and hold the sales team accountable for performance across production and service sales cycle from prospecting to project hand-off to operations. Establish clear expectations, key performance indicators (KPIs), and accountability frameworks to drive consistency and scalability. Provide coaching and guidance to sales team on project strategy, value engineering, contract reviews, pricing approach, and long-term client relationships. Develop and execute commercial roofing sales strategies that align with company objectives including re-roofing, new construction, and service sales. Track sales metrics and KPIs by department, employee and territory to ensure success of individuals and departments. Establish expectations for long-term account management, customer follow-up, and relationship lifecycle planning to drive repeat business and referrals. Support complex contract negotiations, proposal reviews, and customer issue resolution as needed to ensure alignment with Radcos core values. Maintain a professional standard for all external presentations and deliverables amongst sales and estimating teams to ensure a uniform customer experience. Partner with Business Development team to ensure that customers and potential projects align with companys sales filter. Partner with senior leadership and HR to support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of high performing sales and estimating professionals. Collaborate with the companys third party administrator to develop and execute marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, increase market visibility, and support growth objectives. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in business, construction management, engineering, or related field strongly preferred. 7-10 + years of progressive experience in commercial roofing and/or commercial sales and estimating. 3-5 + years of proven leadership experience managing sales teams. Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales estimating professionals. Demonstrated success leading teams through complex sales cycles, including re-roofing, new construction, and service/repair work. Experience driving margin discipline, forecasting accuracy, and scalable sales processes. Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems and estimating practices. Experience establishing KPIs, accountability frameworks, and performance expectations.
