Education and Experience

Credentialing: Completes accurate and detailed professional applications for hospitals and/or payers. Follows for review and signature in a timely manner, with a goal of having applications completed within 120 day maximum timeline. Ensures that approval for hospital and payer privileges and effective dates are documented in detail.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Upholds a high level of understanding of credentialing and privileging and how it relates to other facets within (such as tele Radia, physician scheduling, quality and risk management) and outside of the organization. Recognizes opportunities for improving processes and can communicate effectively with physicians and hospital partners.
License Renewals: Ensures that physician licenses are renewed prior to expiration 100% of the time. Documents payments and follows any outstanding items. Communicates completion to key customers.
Primary Source Verification: Completes primary source verification as requested by management for new and existing physicians to ensure due diligence.
Proctoring: Coordinates and documents proctoring process per hospital requests and internal needs based on current approved policy and guidelines.

Records Management: Maintains assigned physician files, updating each item/action as processed. Responsibilities:
* Payor Enrollment: Manage and maintain enrollment for a large provider group across various payors, process Oregon Medicaid and PRIMECARE, maintain CAQH and PECOS provider profiles and serves as the primary contact for providers regarding enrollment status and documentation needs.
* Credentialing: Completes accurate and detailed professional applications for hospitals and/or payers. Follows for review and signature in a timely manner, with a goal of having applications completed within 120 day maximum timeline. Ensures that approval for hospital and payer privileges and effective dates are documented in detail.
* Interdepartmental Collaboration: Upholds a high level of understanding of credentialing and privileging and how it relates to other facets within (such as tele Radia, physician scheduling, quality and risk management) and outside of the organization. Recognizes opportunities for improving processes and can communicate effectively with physicians and hospital partners.
* License Renewals: Ensures that physician licenses are renewed prior to expiration 100% of the time. Documents payments and follows any outstanding items. Communicates completion to key customers.

The Physician will provide support to Imaging Center staff for CT and MR contrast reactions. Candidates may be of any medical specialty and must hold an active independent Washington State medical license, active DEA, and BLS. The candidate must be comfortable managing CT and MR Contrast reactions and rare urgent medical issues that may arise in outpatients at the imaging center. Properly screens orders prior to exam for any precautions or contraindications
Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner
Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health, and safety standards
Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistance
Qualifications and Requirements
Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic US program required
Current ARDMS registration required
Abdomen & OB-Gyn credentials required
Vascular experience preferred
One year of ultrasound experience preferred
Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR
Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions
