Annual Salary Range for this position is $90,000 to $126,000. Basic Function: The production planning manager develops and manages production schedules, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products within budget. This role involves coordinating across departments, managing inventory, and analyzing production data to ensure deadlines are met. Key responsibilities also include, monitoring production progress, supporting the production team and reporting on production status to Radiac Abrasives senior management team. Primary Responsibilities: Partners with production and engineering to develop, execute, and monitor Material Requirement Planning (MRP) buy/build plan to meet customers' delivery requirements while effectively utilizing resources Liaison with shop resources, customers, supply chain personnel, quality assurance, production, engineering and production-planning personnel and Company leadership to meet production and quality requirements Interface with various production departments and shop personnel to resolve production and/or quality issues to ensure quality product is delivered on schedule Understand and assist production and engineering in maintaining and meeting budget requirements on assigned projects Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, or quality control measures Compile information, such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used, or customer information, so that status reports can be completed Other duties as required Leads team in daily workflow. Run required reports from SAP. Coordinates with various departments to ensure routings / BOM's are correct. Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficient with computer programs such as Microsoft Office. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and other data analysis tools. Familiar in SAP. Familiarity with production planning and scheduling techniques, capacity planning and inventory management principles Understand manufacturing processes. Strong Organizational Skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to obtain and interpret part drawings. Experience and Education: Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive manufacturing experience. Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of management experience. College degree preferred Essential Physical Requirements: 20/20 vision required with or without correction. Radiac is looking for an employee to join our second Shift Production team at our Oswego, IL facility. This person will be responsible to operate a manual machine by following work instructions in order to meet production goals and quality standards. Responsibilities for the position include: Finishing turned parts from according to a given blueprint. Visually inspect product for burrs, damage, rust and other defects. Measuring product using prescribed gaging. Identifying the need for and complete tool changes as needed. Informing management of any maintenance issues or problems related to a job. Timely and accurate completion of all paperwork associated with production parts. Verifying piece count and traceability of product. Maintaining an organized and clean work area. Communicating all problems and other work-related issues with supervisor. Receiving, understanding and following all written and oral instruction. Complying with all company policies and procedures in including safety and attendance requirements. Resolving day-to-day issues by working effectively with others. Tp qualify for the position you must have a: Minimum 2 years manual lathe experience Minimum of 1 year experience in a machining environment. High School Diploma or GED. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to communicate read and write in English. Ability to perform basic math. Familiarity with the use of measuring hand tools. Ability to use various measuring instruments. Ability to follow written and verbal instruction.

    The QC Han-Cho will support the QC Shoko-Cho's plans in maintaining the efficiency of the productivity, ensuring the safety of the team members, developing continuous improvement activities and implementing any necessary 5S or 3 Pillar activities. Other duties and responsibilities of the Han-Cho include: Determine where team members will be placed taking the absenteeism into account Complete PM checksheet items, all final checks, PCS and QCS sheets line sides, and Complete any daily tracking charts. Review production report from previous shift. Review and Complete Communication Log and Inform Team Members of Abnormal Situations Review and discuss any quality issues or customer issues from previous day. Go over any operator issues then address them. Complete Mfg. Check sheets for the first piece Monitor Sekisyo stand. Should be clear from the previous shift. Rotate first piece on the first and final sekisyo stand. Perform Mfg. Hourly check sheets and communicate any problems or counter measures put in place to the appropriate personnel Facilitate safety communication to team member. Ensure team members are practicing proper ergonomics and safe behavior. Ensure team members know evacuation plan. Monitor that team members are wearing proper PPE. Ensure quality of product running on the lines in the department and ensuring appropriate communication of defects and actions taken when received. Investigate final inspection results and assist Shoko-Cho with implementing counter measures. Document any abnormals or quality issues and inform the Shoko-Cho. Provide good feedback to the appropriate personal and establish counter measures. Investigate defective parts and report conditions to Quality and review with t/m's. Assist in rework and sorts. Answer andons promptly for your area. Provide any support necessary to keep line running. Make any repairs necessary throughout day. Respond to any Stop Call Waits issued by Team Members and assist in implementing short term C/M to get line running and in preventing future downtime. Ensure T/M's are performing production activities and following standard work Coordinate repair arrangements for broken tools. Confirm tools after repair. Audit processes to ensure that t/m's are following the established standardized work. Make sure t/m's are practicing good assy. Techniques. Remain knowledgeable on all current and new models. Assist Shoko-Cho in scheduling training for T/M's and completing all training documentations required Assist in Kaizen or other continuous improvement activities for the department Communicate with other shifts Han-Cho or Shoko-Cho and inform them of any problems such as part shortages, quality problems, safety problems, Kaizens activity and any machine failures.
