The Senior Operations Manager, reports directly to the Director of Operations, and is a high energy Leader with the ability to direct a workforce in the fulfillment of orders for multiple clients This includes managing inbound inventory, maintaining inventory, pick/ pack operations and outbound shipments.

Responsibilities:

+ Supervise the day to day activities/mechanisms in accordance to the SOP's, holding a team of associates accountable to standards of safety, quality, and productivity

+ Actively contribute to the development of Radial direct reports

+ Manage seasonal associate workforce. Execute on productivity and daily goals through execution to the Radial Operating Model

+ Keep safe and clean work environment. Achieve and maintain compliance with all company and federally mandated regulations regarding Safety, OSHA, HazMat and DOT

+ Responsible for associate level of safety, quality, and productivity performance

+ Solve and respond to daily issues

+ Plan and coordinate shift activities for areas assigned within the fulfillment center to ensure adherence to all DC procedures

+ Assist Manager in planning, prioritizing, and communicating shift directives to ensure efficiency, accuracy and quality are met for all outbound related activities

+ Ensure that all shift personnel receive proper training, skill development, and assessment per company guidelines

+ Recommend and implement improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of employees for increased shift contribution

+ Implement specific objectives and performance measures for all shift personnel to maximize productivity

+ Lead fulfillment special projects, as needed

+ Accountable for achieving production objectives

+ Monitor all production and personnel statistics and reporting in support of the department operation

+ Reinforce policy and procedure compliance

+ Participates in the Recruiting and Selection process

+ Conducts performance reviews and implements corrective action as appropriate

+ Implementing performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions

+ Interacts with peers and related staff across all departments on the implementation of fulfillment strategies

Job Requirements:

+ Prior experience preferred working in Warehousing, 3PL, Distribution or Manufacturing environment but not required

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point

+ Bilingual English/Spanish desired but not required

+ Ability to maintain a positive attitude while multi-tasking, managing, coaching and mentoring teams to be successful and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong process improvement skills (ability to develop and implement processes. Must have demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills Professional verbal and written communication skills

+ Knowledge of WMS is desired

+ College Degree Preferred, HS Degree/GED Required

Hours: Monday - Friday 4:00pm-12:30am. Must be available for additional hours as needed.

Supervisors assist the managers in attaining overall department and business goals. They lead by example and assist the manager and department by effectively planning and organizing work flow; promoting teamwork, training, problem solving and decision making. + Tasks include planning/creating/organizing training materials and classes; training associates; assigning and directing work; in partnership with the Supervisor or Manager, addressing issues and resolving problems. + Assist the Supervisors, Managers, and other internal groups to meet and exceed customer requirements + Assist the Supervisors, Managers, and other Staff to ensure compliance with all onboarding and training. + Set up all training materials + Support all training classes + Write and document SOP's for training and all processes within the building + Manage training and onboarding cross functional matrix + Ensure site training compliance as it relates to Dangerous Goods and other safety needs. + Assure the safety and security of associates and inventory + Coordinate with other departments on processes and procedures + Monitor and gather data on associate production standards and partner site leadership team to ensure SOP's are followed + Other tasks deemed necessary to ensure customer compliance, safety, and all company rules, policies and guidelines are met. + Focus on Continuous Improvement and work direct with Continuous Improvement teams to support site operating model's documentation and development. + Strong written and communicate skills + Strong computer and systems skills, focused on Word, Excel, Power Point, Survey creations, Access and SmartSheet + Ability to put together training documentation, create surveys, and compile data + Fill in when for other Operational Supervisors when needed + Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement Driven Hours: Monday - Friday8am-4:30pm.
