**Job Overview**
Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe sanitary work environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per dupe from servers.
+ Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare more than estimated needs.
+ Date all food containers and rotate as per the SOP, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
+ Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up.
+ Note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages.
+ Assist in keeping buffet stocked.
+ Return all food items not used on next shift to designed storage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables.

Summit Club is seeking a Sushi Chef Assistant to join the Food and Beverage Culinary Department.
The Sushi Chef Assistant is responsible for crafting amazing fresh fish dishes for our guests and assisting the Sushi Chef with preparation to ensure quality and consistency. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with any member or guest issues/concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure the items prepared are always of the highest quality possible, both in presentation and taste; Prepare for regular spot checks for menu accuracy and taste in all areas.
• Understand and maintain sushi menu standards for exception and consistent service.
• Anticipate daily business levels and communicate needs for inventory and preparations for service to minimize any spoiled or contaminated products.

Stone Valley Senior Living Community is seeking a Cook responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, appealing and quality food for residents and guests, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and complying with all company and state food regulations. This position reports to the Director of Dining Services.
Responsibilities:
* Prepares all food in accordance with the daily menu planner, using company standardized recipes, in a timely manner.
* Perform a pre-meal meeting with food servers to review details of daily menu.
* Works the food line during mealtime.
* Plates food in an attractive manner and ensures that all condiments and garnishes are prepared and served with the appropriate foods.
* Keeps work area and serving line equipment clean and adheres to sanitation cleaning schedules.
* Ensures proper food temperature maintained and recorded.
* Keeps stock rooms, coolers & freezers clean and ensure that food supply stocks are rotated; perishables are labeled, dated and stored properly.
* Keeps food waste to a minimum by using food storage and food recycling techniques.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* 2+ years experience as a Cook for a similar setting.
* Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly (55 and over).

Key Responsibilities

Maintain par levels of prepared items to support uninterrupted line service
Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, mixers, and blenders
Assist with basic cooking tasks such as blanching, portioning, and marinating
Keep prep area clean, sanitized, and organized at all times
Support line cooks and chefs as needed during service periods
Comply with all Clark County Health Department and internal food safety regulations
Follow hand-washing, cleaning, and sanitizing protocols consistently
Accountabilities
Wear and maintain the proper uniform in accordance with restaurant standards
Maintain a clean and organized prep station from start to finish of shift
Properly rotate inventory and minimize waste through accurate prep and storage
Communicate proactively with kitchen team about shortages or prep needs
Be reliable and punctual for all scheduled shifts
Qualifications
3 years of experience in high-end /fast casual fast pace Italian restaurant
Familiarity with basic knife skills and food handling procedures
Knowledge of proper ingredient storage and labeling protocols
Must have Clark County Food Handler Card
Physical & Availability Requirements
Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift
Must be able to lift and transport containers weighing up to 30 lbs.
Must be able to navigate tight prep spaces and handle repetitive motion tasks
Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays
