Prospective students should currently be enrolled in a STEM degree program at an accredited college or university. They should have strong interests in large-scale data analysis, as well as the design and development of high-performing algorithms deployed to embedded systems.
Interns participating in the RF System Program will gain valuable skills and experience in one or more of these critical technological areas and have opportunities to see their work deployed in our state of the art products. Interns may get an opportunity to support RF system in the following areas:
* Perform System Link Budgets for Telemetry, Flight Termination, Data Links, Range Tracking, GPS, SATCOM and etc.
* Radar Analysis (Altitude, Search & Track and SAR)
* Includes terrain & atmospheric absorption, function of time, environmental effects
* Develop Radar and / or Communication algorithm
* Program Software defined Radio's in python, GNU Radio, C, Matlab and etc.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelors or Masters degrees specializing in Computer Science, Machine Learning/AI, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering are especially encouraged to apply.
* Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
