QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS: Must demonstrate competency and proficiency in the following skills and/or abilities: Minimum of a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years professional experience Experience programming PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems Ability to read and understand existing code, and safely edit online Proficiency in multiple IEC 61131-3 programming languages such as LD, ST, and FBD Experience commissioning new control systems Experience with Allen-Bradley controls - Logix/Studio and FactoryTalk View ME/SE Experience with SCADA software is a plus (Ignition, Aveva, WonderWare, Indusoft) Experience with AutoCAD or similar software is a plus Working knowledge of the UL, NEC, NFPA, 70E, NFPA 79, Hazardous Environmental Class ratings and other technical codes Strong desire to take ownership and drive results Must have good judgment, be self-motivated, and be safety conscious Ability to handle a variety of assignment and changing priorities Ability to perform hands on work as required and work effectively on the shop floor with employees and processes Understanding of Process Safety Management is a plus Ability to occasionally work off shifts to support production Ability to lead projects on plant and at satellite locations in US and Canada.
