Responsibilities

• Technical advisement, planning, and guidance on R&D programs supporting Radar technologies.
• Technical evaluation, development, integration and testing of various Payloads.
• Analyze project requests, proposals, or engineering data to determine feasibility, productibility, cost, or production time.
• Review performance reports and documentation from customers and field engineers and inspect malfunctioning or damaged products to determine problem.
• Develop design criteria for products or systems, including testing methods, production costs, quality standards, and completion dates.
• Formulate mathematical models or other methods of computer analysis to develop, evaluate, or modify design, according to customer engineering requirements.
• Technical briefings to the customer and various symposiums.
• Perform technical evaluation, development, integration and testing of the next generation Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) systems for the Guardrail platform.
• Collaboration with other DoD services on Open Architecture Technology in support of current and future platforms - Open VPX, Software Defined Radios, etc.
• Perform data analysis and characterization of airborne Radars, to include next generation systems for the Army.

Qualifications

• Requires 12 to 15 years of Engineering experience in Aerial ISR, SIGINT, RF and Radar with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years' experience with MS/MA.

Colorado Salary Maximum: $233,900

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

+ 4 years of experience in designing and validating for system level desense and baseband solution integration, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.

+ 3 years of experience working with noise propagation, system grounding, and desense mitigation.

Preferred qualifications:

+ Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

+ 7 years of experience with RF systems design from circuit, RF component, and board level design through the protocol level and bringing consumer-oriented products to production.

+ 1 year of experience in technical leadership.

+ Experience in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and LTE technologies and associated system level aspects to include link budget, antenna gain and pattern, TIS, noise figure, and impedance matching.

+ Experience with radiated and conducted wireless measurement methods and debugging of RF parametric test failures.

+ Contribute to the current and future wireless architectures/platforms and radio subsystems roadmap for AR/VR devices.

+ Define and develop test methods for evaluating RF performance in the lab.

Job Description
Responsible for the RF design and test of a two-way radio. This may include RF circuitry such as BT, Wifi, LTE, and FM technologies.Support mentorship by a senior RF engineer.Collaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams during the development of the product.Develop intellectual property for the corporation.

Desired Skills:
Knowledge or experience with FM RF receiver design Excellent communication and teamwork skills required Knowledge of an RF simulation tool required.Knowledge or experience with Cadence or similar schematic and layout entry tools a plus.Knowledge of Labview a plus.
