The Coordinator of Board Operations is responsible for the central coordination of all functions and activities of the UToledo Board of Trustees and UToledo Health Board offices. GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and interpret AV System drawings, schematics, and construction plans.
Perform on-site audiovisual equipment installation and support of various presentation and building systems including Audio, Video, Central Sound and controlled rooms in support of our clients.
Role includes but is not limited to cable installation, termination, rack configuration, device programing and overall quality control of A/V systems.
Maintain system documentation through installation.
Assist with programming, test and check-out.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

5 years minimum, Industry Experience, associated certifications a plus (AVIXA, BICSI).

Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and work within varied conditions.

As an AV Technician you will be trusted to work on supporting, maintaining, and testing our UcaaS conference room and events environment.

Provide assistance to users in using the conference room equipment, which may include conference preparation, and monitor equipment and system performance, reporting equipment, and network problems to appropriate parties for maintenance or repair or escalation.
Operate computers used for briefings, or as needed for event support.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot, room scheduling, and digital signage; including health/audio and video checks, performance enhancements, level-setting,
Provide assistance to users, including executive staff, which may include conference preparation, monitor equipment and system performance, reporting equipment and network problems to appropriate parties for maintenance or repair.
Use expertise and knowledge of video composition principles and techniques such as framing, lighting, perspective, and sound design when setting up A/V scenarios.

Review the ticket queue to identify issues that need to be addressed. Works through the ticket queue without intervening management direction (self-motivated). Resolves tickets within established SLAs.
Establishes and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction according to defined objectives while adhering to policies.
