Essential Functions:
Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Explains procedures to patients and answers questions. Prepares equipment for use as needed. Prepares examination rooms for patient exams. Positions patients for imaging exams. Monitors patients and ensures safety during exams.
Produces diagnostic images. Documents exam information. Reports important information to the physician.
Verifies exams on PACS.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

Produces diagnostic images. Documents exam information. Reports important information to the physician.

Responsibilities:
Located at Community Regional home to the region's only Level I Trauma Center and comprehensive burn center our Radiology team plays a vital role in delivering advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist I, you'll join a collaborative procedural team working alongside physicians to support a wide variety of cases ranging from routine diagnostic angiography to complex vascular and therapeutic interventions.
Operate medical imaging equipment including single and bi-plane fluoroscopic angiographic systems, ultrasound and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) to support safe and accurate procedures.
Assist proceduralists with device management and case preparation, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready for a broad scope of interventional procedures.
Contribute to patient care by maintaining a safe, efficient procedural environment and supporting workflow during both routine and high-acuity cases.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses and fellow technologists as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to quality outcomes and continuous learning.
