The schedule is PRN. Position Summary The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for using the x-ray equipment to produce diagnosing images. Major Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for explaining the procedure performed to the patient. Prepares the patient for x-rays by making sure they are properly positioned for optimal results. Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials. Ensures equipment is in working order.
