Duties:
* Prepares and positions patients for x-rays and selects exposure factors accurately.
* Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Prevents patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiation.

* Must work with established procedures and methods, but is expected to prioritize assignments, deviate from schedules or alter the sequence of steps as necessary to obtain desired results.

JOB SUMMARY Performing Digital 3D Mammography (screening or diagnostic) under the direct supervision of our radiologists to help in diagnosis and/or treatment for patient care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Produce high quality mammographic images
•Knowledge of anatomy and proper terminology and positioning
•Ability to work alongside with Radiologists to maintain quality control and proper guidelines
•Ability to learn new protocols and equipment as needed
•Follow appropriate policies and procedures given by ACR and State guidelines
•Maintain proper documentation and terminology
•Ability to input patient data into RIS, PACS, VSDM
•Observes patient privacy policy and complies with HIPAA
•Preforms routine cleaning of the work area and associated equipment, laundry, and stocking when needed
•Ensures care and compassion with all patients
•Willing to perform and or accept other duties that may be assigned
