JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for operating X-ray equipment that assists physicians with diagnosing and/or treating disease and/or injury. Additionally, the X-Ray / Radiology technician executes necessary medical assisting procedures to maintain seamless daily operations. Experience with various imaging modalities such as sonography, PET scans, and mammography is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions during diagnostic evaluations. Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a positive experience for patients undergoing imaging procedures. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, particularly in urgent care settings. PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES Knowledge of X-ray procedures and protocols. The CT/X-Ray Technologist participates in technical duties directly involved with the CT scanner and the Diagnostic Imaging, including developing, initiating, and monitoring procedures for the effective utilization of this unit.
