Essential Duties:
Performing all major duties and responsibilities of the radiologic technologist role.
Perform supervisory duties to include but not limited to: managing efficient workflows, staff performance evaluations, managing performance concerns, schedules, selection, mentor and training of new staff.
Assist with the development, implementation and revision of Radiology exam protocols and workflows. Apply principles of radiation protection to both patient and staff.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience:
Five to ten years of similar or related experience
Education:
Equivalent to a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study or certification. Board certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Iowa Permit to Practice Diagnostic Radiography.
Interpersonal Skills:
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information that may require some discussion.
