Completes archiving responsibilities on each patient. Maintains a safe environment for the patient, staff, and visitors in and around the X-ray Suite. Positions patients appropriately for imaging; provides instructions related to breathing and patient comfort. Enters required patient information accurately into the E.H.R; selects and follows appropriate protocol. Under the supervision of the provider and direction of the clinical lead, assists with initial intake of patient including chief complaint, patient history and initial vital signs, after completion of department-based training and competencies.
