Under general supervision, position in this function utilize equipment and computer systems to provide patients with quality digital mammograms. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, quality control and the adherence to American College of Radiology and MQSA guidelines. The position requires excellent positioning, communication, organizational, and problem solving skills. Hours: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm (no weekends) Primary Responsibilities: Consistently performs high quality digital mammograms Follows established protocols based on the needs of the individual patient and ordered exam Explains procedures and observes patients to ensure safety and comfort during exam Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients and staff Evaluates images for technical quality Maintains the cleanliness of the mammography machine and associated equipment in accordance with the infection control policies and procedures You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Qualifications - External Required Qualifications: High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience Active WA state license or pending application Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and board certified or board eligible in Mammography (must obtain certification within one year of hire) Completion of a course in imaging technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
