    This position is responsible for following established procedures and protocols. Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. Must be physically able to load and unload x-ray equipment (100-185lbs) from the vehicle on average 5-10 times per shift and maneuver equipment to the patient bed-side to perform the exam. A ramp or winch can be supplied upon request to assist with the loading/unloading of equipment. Must by physically able to transport equipment up and down as many as eight (8) steps. Must be physically able to place X-ray cassettes underneath patients to complete exams, which requires lifting patients and pulling and pushing cassettes under body part being examined. Patient's weight varies depending on body part being examined.
