Print out daily x-ray logs to provide billing department and keep on file in x-ray department. Work at the Front Desk as a patient representative as necessary. Perform other responsibilities as may be called on by their Supervisor.     Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities. Perform X-Ray and CT exams on patients with a referral from a doctor. Knowledge of safe radiation practices as stated in Title 17 by the State of California. Comply with safety regulations involving the use of radiation to protect yourself, patients, and other staff members from overexposure to radiation. Practice the technique of ‘patient shielding' with the use of lead aprons. Knowledge of digital imaging processing with PACS archival in a film-less environment. Communicate with the center manager on any related issues from above. Communicate with Radiologist on best practices as needed. Successfully complete EPIC training. Stay updated with advancements in CT technology and ensure best practices are followed. Maintain expertise in CT imaging protocols to ensure high-quality patient care. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
