SUMMARY: Under the direction of Urgent Care Practice Manager and indirectly under the direction of the TMH Manager Medical Imaging, performs a variety of technical radiographic procedures; applies prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Performs clerical duties as well as EKG and phlebotomy functions. Reports unit issues to Manager Medical Imaging.Places EKG leads on patients to ensure a good tracing is recorded, performs EKG tracings. Ensures the tracings are properly labeled and made part of the patient's medical record.pMaintains orderliness, cleanliness and adequate supplies for assigned area.Provides coverage for the department as required and needed, including weekends and holidays, demonstrates coverage flexibility with shifts and locations.Participates in the training and instruction of new Urgent Care Radiology Techs.Maintains quality assurance, safety regulations, environmental, and infection control, in accordance with established hospital and department policies, procedures and objectives.Manages time effectively.
