Performs procedures on patients whose conditions require specialized expertise. 2. Assists Radiologists, other physicians and allied health care professionals in performing diagnostic or treatment procedures. 3. Performs diagnostic testing on equipment and general maintenance. 4. Monitors patient and equipment condition during procedure and reports changes to appropriate health care professional. 5. Demonstrates new or revised techniques, procedures and equipment. 4. May perform radiologic procedures, as required. 5. Performs special procedures including diagnostic and interventional radiography (e.g., C.T., M.R.I., and Mammography). 6. Recommends area assignment of personnel to coordinate activities within the department with other activities and services and represents the department in interdepartmental operations and meetings. 7. Participates in quality assurance activities, including coordination, control and maintenance of technical equipment. 8. Job Responsibilities: Operate Radiological equipment to produce clinical diagnostic films as directed by physicians.
