Travel Radiology CT Tech Job
TLC Healthforce
Radiologic technician job in Lapeer, MI
Step into a pivotal CT Tech role within Radiology, where precision, compassion, and curiosity converge to elevate patient care. As a CT Technologist specializing in CT imaging, you'll bring sharp problem-solving, meticulous technique, and a steady, reassuring presence to every exam. This multi-week assignment in Michigan's Lapeer area begins on 02/02/2026, offering a well-structured schedule with guaranteed hours and a competitive weekly pay range of 1,949 to 2,061 dollars. You'll enjoy a baseline of 36.0 guaranteed hours, with ample opportunities to extend the assignment and grow within the radiology specialty. Visualize yourself contributing to accurate diagnoses, collaborating closely with radiologists, nurses, and the broader care team, and leaving a tangible imprint on patient outcomes. In this role, your technical skill translates directly into clearer images, faster treatment decisions, and heightened patient trust. Beyond the hospital walls, Michigan's diverse landscapes invite you to explore lakes, trails, and vibrant communities that celebrate outdoor recreation, culture, and seasonal charm. Lapeer's welcoming neighborhoods and convenient access to nearby cities offer a balanced life where professional fulfillment and personal well-being go hand in hand, making every shift feel meaningful and rewarding.
Location benefits go beyond the patient floor. Working in Lapeer provides you with the opportunity to immerse yourself in a tight-knit community feel while staying within reach of larger urban centers and all they offer. Michigan's natural beauty-vast freshwater shores, forested parks, and picturesque small towns-adds a sense of renewal to your routine. For those who crave travel versatility, this engagement also opens pathways to assignments across the United States, allowing you to experience new facilities, team dynamics, and regional imaging protocols while maintaining a stable, supportive core. The region's amenities-from local eateries to cultural events and recreational outlets-create a backdrop that sustains energy and focus on your radiology work. This is a chance to broaden your professional horizon while enjoying the distinctive charm and outdoor opportunities that Michigan affords.
In this CT Tech role, your responsibilities are central to patient safety and diagnostic excellence. You'll operate and optimize CT imaging equipment, select appropriate protocols, and tailor imaging parameters to body habitus and clinical questions. You'll perform patient positioning, motion reduction strategies, and dose optimization to balance image quality with radiation safety. You'll administer contrast media as indicated, monitor for adverse reactions, and implement emergency procedures when needed. You'll collaborate with radiologists to acquire high-quality, consult-ready images, document essential findings, and ensure accurate labeling and data integrity. You'll participate in equipment checks, preventive maintenance, and calibration activities, contributing to a culture of reliability and continuous improvement. There's ample opportunity for professional growth-from refining advanced CT techniques to cross-training in emerging modalities-supporting your long-term career trajectory within radiology. Our program emphasizes not just the day-to-day tasks but the broader skills that enhance patient experience, workflow efficiency, and interdisciplinary communication.
The benefits are designed to recognize your expertise and to support your life beyond the scanner. In addition to competitive compensation, you'll have access to a sign-on bonus and housing assistance to ease relocation or interim housing needs. You'll also have the chance to extend the assignment, with extension opportunities that enable you to deepen your knowledge, build team relationships, and contribute to longer-term outcomes at the site. As a traveling CT Tech with our company, you'll receive comprehensive support from a dedicated team, including 24/7 assistance, troubleshooting, credentialing help, and resource access whenever you're on assignment. This unwavering scaffold is intended to reduce administrative friction, so you can focus on delivering exceptional imaging, comforting anxious patients, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Our approach centers on empowerment: we invest in your growth through ongoing education, mentorship, and opportunities that recognize your achievements and your potential to lead best practices in imaging.
Company values underpin every facet of this opportunity. We are committed to empowering our staff to advance their careers within radiology, fostering a supportive work environment that values initiative, collaboration, and curiosity. You'll be part of a culture that prioritizes patient-centered care, open communication, and continuous improvement, with leadership dedicated to your professional development and well-being. We celebrate diverse experiences and perspectives, encouraging you to contribute ideas, share best practices, and assume greater responsibility as you demonstrate mastery and leadership in your CT imaging work. This is more than a job-it's a platform to refine your craft, expand your professional network, and build a reputation for reliability and excellence in imaging services.
