Examples of Typical Tasks: Assignment Level I: 1. Prepares radiological area, equipment, contrast materials and supplies, as needed for patients. 2. Performs procedures on patients whose conditions require specialized expertise. 2. Assists Radiologists, other physicians and allied health care professionals in performing diagnostic or treatment procedures. 3. Performs diagnostic testing on equipment and general maintenance. 4. Monitors patient and equipment condition during procedure and reports changes to appropriate health care professional. 5. Recommends area assignment of personnel to coordinate activities within the department with other activities and services and represents the department in interdepartmental operations and meetings. 7. Participates in quality assurance activities, including coordination, control and maintenance of technical equipment. 8.
