Understands all interventional procedures and assists physician in a variety of exams. Insertion and removal of PICC lines and micro-puncture access. Follows appropriate safety precautions. Performs visual preventative safety inspections. Reports dangerous department or equipment conditions appropriately. Assists M.D. with AAA Repair and Carotid Stent Device Management. Works with the interventional radiologist to develop protocol and perform procedures for line placement and pain management procedures. Maintains IDNS license and ARRT registration; remains current on developing trends in diagnostic radiology; participates in continuing education. Maintains clean, neat and orderly work area; maintains appropriate supply levels. Treats patients in professional and respectful manner. Demonstrates age-specific competency. Explains procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

    We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Postdoctoral Researcher to join the X-ray Science Division (XSD) at Argonne National Laboratory. The successful candidate will develop web-based AI agents for X-ray spectroscopy by integrating large language models (LLMs) with physics-aware spectroscopy workflows. The researcher will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of X-ray physicists and computational scientists to advance a next-generation, user-friendly, agentic AI platform for automated data analysis, interpretation, and user interactions. The appointment is expected to last two years and the contract is extended on a yearly basis.
