Under the direction of the Radiology Clinical Coordinator, this individual must be able to operate mammography, radiographic equipment, and bone density equipment safely and proficiently. This person must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. An advanced ARRT registry in Mammography is preferred. The incumbent must be able to produce high-quality mammograms with minimal repeats. Must be able to communicate with physicians, patients, families, and ancillary hospital personnel. Will participate in performance improvement initiatives.
