About this Job: MedStar Health is looking for a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist to join our team at Medstar Washington Hospital Center! Schedule: Every Saturday and Sunday 7:00am-7:00pm As a CT Technologist, you will operate diagnostic equipment to produce computerized axial tomographic scan (CT) images of internal organs for use by professional personnel. Explains process to patients and interviews for medical history. Instructs and assists patients in assuming positions for proper scan, and administers contrast media (I.V., oral, rectal and P.O.) according to protocols. Reviews patient records for orders, exam history, lab work, and allergies, and positions patients on the scan table. Our client, is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join their team. This role involves providing mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations. You'll be responsible for performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital radiography equipment, performing EKGs, and maintaining regular communication with dispatch, management, and clients. Qualifications (Required): 1+ years of experience in any of the following: - Meditech RAD Radiology - Mammography - Radiology 1+ years of experience in any of the following: - Echocardiogram (Echo) - Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) - Echocardiography Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification Valid Regular Driver's License (DL) Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination Must not have already applied directly for this position Key Responsibilities: Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation. Unload portable X-Ray equipment and bring it into facilities to perform exams as ordered by the physician. Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily, as per protocol. Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
