Position Summary: We are seeking a Full-time Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator to join our busy Medical Imaging Center in Ocala, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and scheduling callback procedures. The ideal candidate will ensure that patient exams are properly followed up on, and all records are closed in accordance with RAO procedures and MQSA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Contact patients in need of follow-up procedures and schedule return appointments in a timely manner.
Document all patient contact and prepare necessary documentation for radiologist review.
Coordinate with referring clinicians and surgeons to confirm compliance and consultations.
Monitor and ensure timely closure of all problem case records per MQSA compliance.
Provide clear, concise written and verbal instructions to patients regarding procedures.
Obtain proper orders from referring providers and verify anticoagulant usage in biopsy patients according to protocol.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service setting
Minimum 1 year of administrative experience in a healthcare environment

* Screens patients before examination for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination
* Performs routine and advanced radiologic procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats
* Explains and prepares patients for procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned and providing patient support by talking to patients throughout the procedure

Position Summary
As an Insurance Verifier, you will play a critical role in ensuring insurance pre-authorizations are in place for imaging exams prior to patient appointments. This position requires direct communication with referring providers and insurance companies and involves starting the authorization process when needed.
Key Responsibilities
