    The Clinical Research Nurse, ensures that the health and safety of research participants and the integrity and quality of clinical trials, are maintained and conducted in accordance with federal, state, IRB, departmental, and institutional regulations, policies and procedures. In collaboration with multidisciplinary researchers, they may drive research programs through nursing lens and perspective to integrate new advances in clinical trials management. The role requires excellent planning and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a changing, multiple-demand setting in order to prioritize a large volume of work and meet deadlines efficiently and accurately. Strong interprofessional collaboration, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work with a diverse group of people, including physicians, patients and families, are essential.
