Under the supervision of the Family Life Director, the Childwatch/YKids Attendant is responsible for group control, the safety of the children attending, and following association lesson plans. He/She also serves as a role model by exemplifying high standards and values. Essential Functions: Supervise children in all Childwatch/YKIDS usage areas. Maintain line of sight and sound at all times. Helps plan, leads, and participates in all activities by providing direction and motivation for all children in the program Remains flexible as needs change. Responsible for the safety and well-being of all children in the program, including changing diapers, toileting assistance, and infant feedings. Responsible for being proactive in all aspects of the program and watching for safety concerns or opportunities to engage with children/parents. Helps ensure that the youth program operates in accordance with all safety and childcare standards. Attends all staff meetings and required training programs.
