Responsibilities:
Ability to fulfill all responsibilities of Nurse/Clinical Tech and Patient Care Specialist position as detailed in the specific Nurse/Clinical Tech and Patient Care Specialist job description.
The ability to deliver clinical and administrative support for the team and adhere to all
policies and procedures of the company.
Monitor and track x-ray orders so they can be completed and submitted in a timelymanner.
Assist patient with proper positioning during the exam to ensure diagnostic quality.
Ensure that their activities are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall department expectations and comply with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements including working knowledge of all health information managementissues such as HIPAA.
Review exam images for initial read by provider.
Send final images to Radiology group for over read.
Responsible to correctly label laterality of all images by the use of initialed leadmarker.
Confirm that no removable artifacts are in the anatomy requested, and ensure the proper technique (“S” number) is used appropriate for the exam. Any artifacts appearing in the anatomy of interest must have a solid explanation (direct refusal or inability by patient to remove) noted in the history.
Ability to address minor maintenance issues with the machines, and to follow up with nurse coordinator (or Clinic Director in their absence) for consultation prior to any outsourcing calls.
Monitor the condition of the cassettes and other equipment in the x-ray room for signs of wear or malfunction and submit problems found as soon as possible to the Imaging Director so the issues can be rectified. Cassettes, chest bucky, and exam table are to be cleaned after each use to avoid cross contamination
Maintains and distributes pregnancy waiver forms where applicable.
Triage patients by checking and recording vitals, collect and record pertinent clinical history and all other information deemed necessary for proper charting in the EMS. Performblood draws, give injections, administer oral medications and perform other basic nursing tasks when not directly in the course of a radio graphical exam if applicable in yourstate.
Monitors and reads X-Ray badge monthly.
Radiation Monitors must be worn at all times when in the X-Ray room and maintain reporting as required.
Responsible for learning the aspects of compliance in the company by completing all mandatory compliance training.
Welcome new employees on their first day in the clinic and facilitate introductions to team members, clinic tours, and an overview of the clinic processes.
Actively assist new employees with learning activities and completing required training.
Support new employee training by providing job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities

Overview
Under general supervision is responsible for entry-level probation and parole work of average difficulty, and performs related work as required. Duties

Shovel dumped cinders in spreading or leveling and in keeping ash bin area clean.
Assist in maintenance of ash sluicing and coal handling equipment.
Assist in work on tracks and track beds as assigned.
Maintain landscaped property in an attractive condition; reseeding, rolling, cutting and weeding lawns; cultivating, pruning, spraying and resetting shrubs and plants; trimming and spraying trees and removing leaves and other debris from property, perform maintenance work on roadways, parking lots, property lines and fences; remove snow and spread salt and cinders on icy roads and walks; make minor repairs on tools and equipment used in performing these duties.
Perform general painting work around coal handling equipment and structures.
Maintain work equipment and areas in a clean, orderly condition, continuously observe Company safety rules and practices, check conditions of safety equipment, attend scheduled safety meetings, participate in artificial respiration practice as required and become familiar with safety manuals, rules and special procedures prescribed by the Company.
Perform other similar or less skilled work, direct and train men assigned to work with him; and perform the duties of Station Helper.

Graduation from high school or applicable equivalent in either job training or study.

* Collect environmental samples and/or monitoring data (e.g., soil, rock, air, water, sediment, sludge, biological), under physically demanding conditions.
* Perform physical activities, such as walking (i.e. ditches, uneven terrain, etc.), wading in water, climbing, lifting (such as coolers, generators, etc.), operating field equipment (backpack shockers, augers, core samplers, or probes), etc.
* Operates, carries or handles equipment/machinery unassisted that may weigh up to 50 pounds.
* Performs physically demanding, ecologically-based stewardship and natural resource management on state natural areas, (utilizing equipment, such as backpack sprayer, chainsaw, bush hog, lawnmower, tractor, etc. in the management of rare species habitat, controlled fire, trail maintenance, boundary maintenance, invasive species control, etc.)
Documenting/Recording Information:
* Prepares and maintains complete and accurate records, reports, logs, databases, chain-of-custody and correspondence based on established guidelines and procedures.
* Maintains records of observations made during field evaluations to document data collection, ambient site conditions, and the location of the evaluation.
* Documents all relevant work activities, contacts, and meetings.
Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings:
* Performs environmental or health investigations, remediation, and/or monitoring work, including sampling and evaluation of pollutants to determine compliance with environmental or other standards.
* Serves as a technical advisor to emergency responders for incidents/accidents.
* Reviews monitoring data to determine permit compliance, environmental standards and/or ecological conditions.
* Comply with safe handling, storage and disposal procedures for samples, laboratory reagents and other chemicals.
* Verify expiration dates of chemicals and supplies, disposing of expired materials as required by safety rules and regulations.
Repairing and Maintaining Electronic Equipment:
* Maintains, repairs and calibrates electronic equipment, such as radiation detection meter, photo ionization detector, pH meter, GPS, and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) as needed.
Provide Consultation and Advice to Others:
* Provide technical expertise in handling events involving radiation and radioactive material, including transportation, and industrial incidents as well as natural catastrophes.
* Provide consultative, technical, or educational services to industry, municipalities, counties, individuals, or groups in the necessity and methodology of enhancing environmental stewardship, health or other standards, practices, and safety.
* Update regulatory information to stakeholders.
Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment:
* Maintains, repairs, and/or calibrates mechanical equipment, such as ozone monitor, air monitoring, laser level and watercrafts as needed.
Monitoring and Controlling Resources:
* Ensures contractors' proposed work activities comply with established rates and/or approved scope of work.
Getting Information:
* Conducts, observes and/or oversees environmental or health surveys, sampling, inventories or monitoring, testing, including site evaluations.
* Perform regulatory and other research in order to stay current with local, state, and federal standards and procedures.
* Searches for and/or identifies entities or locations that should be regulated and inform those that need to be brought into compliance.
* Obtains and receives records, data, operational plans, enforcement action requests, survey information, etc.
Scheduling Work and Activities:
* Assist in managing state programs including certifying officials/professionals; coordination and training; records management; and federal reporting requirements (e.g. the ginseng program, asbestos, lead based paint, etc.).
