This individual must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities: Perform maintenance repairs on existing traffic systems to ensure their proper functioning and identify any issues or potential hazards. Troubleshoot and repair traffic and street light systems Conduct regular tests and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Monitor and control utility equipment and systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation. Assist in the planning and implementation of system upgrades or improvements. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize workload. Respond to emergency situations and resolve issues promptly. Provide training and guidance to less experienced technicians, as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training is a plus. NEC Certification- mandatory. IMSA Level II certified preferred. Class A license holder, preferred. Crane Operator certified, preferred. Skills: Proven experience as a Traffic Technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good oral and written communication abilities Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
