-Somewhat flexible schedule -Interesting products -Free expired food and goods
-Had to pay $22 for a required work apron (I made $10.50 an hour) -Was told that I would not be paid for onboarding (which is illegal) and this mistake was only rectified after notifying the HR representative that this practice was illegal. -HR representative, named Merrick, is unprofessional, telling an employee of 10+ years that she “made too much money” while making $13.50/hr. The HR representative also berated a 17 year old girl after she requested to discuss a pay raise. -Was reprimanded for “sitting down for too long” when the store was empty and my tasks had been complete. -High turnover rate lead to me being required to work full time on some weeks when I was hired on as part-time. -High turnover rate.
Wonderful coworkers, but the management is awful.
