Job Summary:
We are looking for a Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of our financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in full-cycle accounting, a good understanding of QuickBooks Online, and job costing while working collaboratively with our team. This role will report directly to the Owner and play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Accounting: Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger maintenance, and month-end/year-end closings.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Reconciliations: Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Sales Tax and Compliance: Manage sales tax calculations, filings, and payments, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Supervise the AP/AR processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections, while maintaining strong vendor and client relationships.
Loan and Debt Management: Record and reconcile loan payments, monitor debt schedules, and ensure timely payments and accurate reporting.
Audit and Compliance: Prepare for and support internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership: Collaborate with the estimating and other departments, fostering a team-oriented environment and providing guidance on financial processes and best practices.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, implement best practices, and enhance internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience
Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and collaborate with a team, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and drive financial strategy.

Responsibilities
At The Cleaning Authority, we offer professional house cleaning services. When you join our team, you'll be trained on our Detail-Clean Rotation System, which has proven effective in more than 20 million cleans across North America. You will be in different homes every day working with a partner to get all of the work done. Our organization is renowned for providing quality cleanings at affordable prices. Our goal is to make our customers' lives better, and we know that starts with our Professional Housekeeper / House Cleaner.
No experience needed. We will train through a structured new-hire orientation with hands-on training with one of our experienced and professional housekeeping trainers.
