Job Summary
We're seeking a Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations to serve as the strategic and operational hub of the Rakuten Rewards Marketing organization. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution, ensuring that marketing priorities, investments, and operating rhythms are tightly aligned with business outcomes.

Qualifications

Strong analytical skills with a track record of turning data into decisions.
Comfort navigating ambiguity, driving prioritization, and holding teams accountable.

What you'll achieve:

Evaluate and interpret the budget impacts of personnel, operational expenses and allocations to cross functional teams on a monthly basis and collaborate with their forecast
Ensure completion of various key business analysis projects that have concrete financial benefits to the organization
Prepare and track key performance indicators, other metrics, and business or operational trend data for dashboards and other management reporting for Rakuten International and the Rakuten group of companies
Ad hoc reporting and other miscellaneous projects as assigned
Evaluate financial and operational performances and develop and/or suggest alternative solution for areas of improvements.
