What We Are Looking For:
We're looking for a Software Development Intern to join our team for Summer 2026 who is hungry for real-world experience on our Bandwidth Messaging Team. We're seeking somebody who loves building things, loves learning new things, and aspires to be a great engineer in the future. You'll be assigned a dedicated mentor from the Messaging Team who will work closely with you to guide your technical growth, review your work, and help you succeed during your internship. Ideally, we'll find somebody who comes back to work with us full time upon graduation.
If you love writing code that sends next-generation text messages using SMS, MMS and over the top applications like WhatsApp and Facebook then we'd like to talk to you.
What You'll Do:
Build and maintain customer facing APIs
Participate in code reviews
Contribute to architecting software to build new solutions for our customers
Collaborate with product manager & software engineering team to efficiently prioritize and deliver message provisioning software
What You Need:
Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent course of study
You love to solve problems
You enjoy designing efficient and intuitive solutions
You thrive in a team environment
You have practical programming skills to write clean and testable code
You are comfortable working with Java and databases (Bonus if you can work with AWS as well)

What You'll Do:
Provide hands-on support for veterinary care including:
Restraint, preparing vaccines, filling medications, assisting in exams and with x-rays
Assisting in surgical procedures and dental cleanings.
Assisting with client communication and entering charges accurately
Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and patient care throughout the facility
Participate in team meetings, CE opportunities, and collaborative learning
Contribute to a positive work culture through dependability, flexibility, and humor
