The people are nice and the store is right next to a gym.
Crazy homeless people hang around.
They are understanding of any other schedules or obligations I may have.
They're friendly and usually on top of any concerns I bring them.
Managers and supervisers don't always communicate everything, for example, when a manager changes a previously established rule.
As an autistic man, I dressed as nicely as I could, played through all the scenarios I could think of in my head, and made it a point to be as specific as I could be with the information I have; careful not to miscommunicate in such a way as to offend someone unintentionally. It's not perfect.
I make around minimum wage which to my understanding is the average on the store level. I don't know what the average is on a corperate level.
My store has two autistic people currently employed to the best of my knowledge. I've heard the term "popular issue" tossed around. Sehr interessant. Also, I think you mean divergent.
I get to interact with people I wouldn't normally interact with which can be good or bad.
Honestly, not a bad job overall, I worked in the Deli/Bakery dept., and the labor itself wasn't too bad, I almost enjoyed it at times
The management at my location did not really care about their employees. They acted nice and pretended like they were going to help, but never really did anything about some of our 'less productive' coworkers, including a few senior employees who blatantly broke the health code on a regular basis.
Raleys always supported of what I wanted to do but as soon as i became a manger, we were over worked to the point where our store director told us that we were worth 4 people when we were just one.
Our store director wanted all the managers to be women and no men. All managers told you what you could do better and no recognition for how hard you worked.
Discounts and $5 meals
Having good medical benefits
The pay is terrible
Working on the holidays and making sure I get plenty of hours.
I had experience with my father as a butcher and developed with the Company Raleys.
They run their Ads pretty Good.
GiVe us ALL A RAISE!!!!!!!!!!
Working with others and interacting with Customers.
It's poor when it comes to pay.
I love my co workers. They are a great group of people who are just trying to get ahead.
They don't schedule you enough hours to live off of. The pay isn't that great. They only promote people who are in the office all the time, not people who work the hardest.
Health insurance
For the most part working with a team.
The fact that bullying a minor out of their job doesn't get you a write up but lies by others does
The dental insurance
The pay is good.
Since Raley's took over Bashas, they fired so many Bashas' employees, and replaced them with their own CA members. Everybody is worried about WHEN they'll loose their jobs. It's not an "if", it's a "when".
...
The most I can say is guaranteed hours
Pay is awful. The culture Raleys promotes effectively trains employees to be submissive servants to customers. Worked during all of covid and “bonuses” were abysmal.
None
Consistent hours
Unorganized management
I have a higher status than most to get days off
The tasks were quick to pick up and my co workers were enthusiastic
My manger and how uncoordinated the work schedule was
The food was 50% off

Connection to the community
Leadership becoming more corporate
Access to community events
The coworkers and management are really nice and kind. They train you very good.
Standing on your feet for a long period of time.
Hour long break
