Those sentiments were echoed by both honorees, who credit Ramapo with a lifetime of learning, laughter, and love. It was our greatest joy to honor the Mendelsohn/Mellins family, whose patriarch Walter Mendelsohn helped found Camp Ramapo in 1922 alongside Mike Kunin, whose over forty years at Camp Ramapo have contributed enormously to the growth and prosperity of our camp programming.
July 10, 2014 - On a sunny Saturday this past spring, the girls from the Ramapo Leadership Program piled into vans at our Rhinebeck campus and headed to the Mohonk Preserve in the mid-Hudson Valley.
