Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Principal with business development talent and a book of work with existing clients focused on Site Solutions (i.e., investigation and remediation) with a specific emphasis on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
Our key candidate is a mature consultant who will focus on developing business that benefits from our technical expertise and global reputation. Ramboll's PFAS Expertise
For more than two decades, Ramboll has developed PFAS management solutions for our clients. We understand the complex environmental, chemical and toxicological characteristics of PFAS and the challenges that they present. As our new Managing Consultant, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing innovative and sustainable site solutions to an international client base.

* Support the Materials Evaluation Group with test setup, fixture fabrication, and standard evaluations.
* Build fixtures for part-level evaluations and prepare parts and materials for various testing scenarios.

What you get to do
The Propulsion System Diagnostic Software Validation Engineer will develop test specifications, execute component and subsystem diagnostic testing for all propulsion system ECUs of the vehicle (VCU, BMS, EDM, OBC, DCDC converter). The candidate will work closely with the Software Team, Electrical Team, and Propulsion Team to validate the subsystem and component level diagnostics on different test properties. The validation engineer will generate test cases and analyze results to ensure program requirements are met.
* Develop Diagnostic Validation test cases for the system, subsystem and component level for each propulsion system module (ECU) across the vehicle architecture.
* Work closely with Software, Electrical, and Propulsion teams on the integration of multiple control units on the test properties.

What You Will Do: Looking for a self-motivated Engine Harness Development Engineer who is responsible for the design, prototype, and documentation of engine, transmission, and electrified powertrain wiring harnesses to support conventional and electrified powertrain test cells located at the echnical Center, in Auburn Hills Michigan.
The engineer's responsibilities also include organizing and overseeing the build of such harnesses (both in-house and outsourced to a supplier), checking for errors, verifying operation, controlling inventory, diagnosing/troubleshooting issues in the field, and ensuring corrective actions are made when necessary. The Engine Harness Development Engineer will be expected to be able to read and interpret device transmittal information and be able to utilize that information to efficiently design wiring harnesses for dynamometer testing.
In addition, the engineer will be required to interface with a network of product development engineers to gather required electrical information, work with technicians and third party suppliers to ensure harnesses are built to specification, document designs, and maintain the drawing database.

What You Will Do: As a Global Shift Systems Applications Engineer, you'll lead the design, development, validation, and release of electronic user interface components-specifically gear shift systems-across global vehicle programs. You'll be the key bridge between core engineering and vehicle teams, ensuring flawless execution from concept to launch.

Transforming the Future with Convergence of Simulation and Data Systems Engineer Calibration Our client in Dearborn, MI is looking for a Systems Engineer Calibration. This is a contract position. What You Will Do: * Responsible for overall vehicle thermal system sign-off including Wind Tunnel Testing and Road Development.
* Work with the propulsion (ICE/xEV) teams to develop key parameters of calibration as it relates to Climate Control.
* Work with Dual Automatic Temperature Control team on calibration development.
* Work with hardware teams to ensure components and sub-systems meets requirements to deliver expected climate performance.
* Analyze test data to ensure vehicle is exhibiting expected behavior and passing all requirements.
* Troubleshoot any short falls in performance and propose solutions.
* Document/incorporate lessons learned.
* Understand and apply Thermal/Cabin System CAE tools (i.e. A/C, Heater, and battery thermal simulations).
* Coordinate Vehicle testing to support Program Timing Milestones.
* Plan and Execute Vehicle Wind Tunnel testing and Supplier data analysis.
* Plan and Execute Vehicle Road Trip testing.
* Ensure all the climate control comfort strategies are implemented in programs as applicable.

* Understand and apply Thermal/Cabin Systems - how does a vehicle provide AC and heat to the customer.
* Coordinate Vehicle testing to support Program Timing Milestones.
* Plan and Execute Vehicle Wind Tunnel testing and Supplier data analysis o Plan and Execute Vehicle Road Trip testing.
* Ensure all the climate control comfort strategies are implemented in programs as applicable.
Basics:
* B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
* 1+ years of experience in hands on vehicle level attribute development or vehicle testing.
* Clear understanding of entire Climate Control refrigerant and Air Handling systems and how they interact with vehicle subsystems.
* Must understand interactions with ICE/xEV vehicle systems Data Analysis, Test Planning, Data Acquisition.
* Data Analysis - Ability to read/interpret data via data acquisition tools such as ATI, INCA, CANape, or Excel.
* Test Planning - Ability to plan tests around program milestones and vehicle/wind tunnel availability.
* Data Acquisition - Familiarity with data acquisition tools (ATI, INCA, CANape, Excel, etc.).
* Onsite postion. Expected to be onsite at least 4 days a week.
Preferred:
* M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
* 3+ years' experience in automotive climate control including Dual Automatic Temperature Control and heat pump systems.
* Familiar with powertrain calibration methods and tools.
* Familiar with software integration test tools (i.e. CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, ATI) .
* Familiar with automotive communication standards (i.e. CAN/CAN-FD/Automotive Ethernet).
* Knowledge of Ford engineering processes and systems (i.e. TPOTs, GPDS) Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
* Mechanical Engineering - understanding of vehicle climate control system.
* Electrical Engineering - understanding of vehicle climate control system.
* Essentially, we often hire either mechanical or electrical engineers as the role requires an understanding of the climate control system which utilizes both mechanical and electrical systems.
