Your new role
As our new Principal or Senior Managing Consultant, you will be a subject matter expert in the area of chemical regulations, including US and Canadian new chemical notifications and compliance, and you will help lead and drive business development and projects focused on product safety and stewardship.
You will be part of our interdisciplinary team in the Americas, engaging with other business and technical professionals, and will work with all levels of technical expertise, from entry level team members to members with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their own fields.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Maintaining cutting-edge knowledge of developments in US and global industrial chemical control regulations, as well as general knowledge of such regulations in The European Union and Asia Pacific regions
Providing high quality technical, scientific, and regulatory advice, including formulation of high- level regulatory strategy relating to global chemical control regulations, particularly the US TSCA and Canadian CEPA regulatory frameworks
Managing multi-disciplinary, cross-geography projects while working with subject matter experts at Ramboll and providing technical and regulatory consultancy services to clients in the chemicals, oil & gas, electronics, automotive, and other industrial sectors, as well as various law firms and trade associations
Commitment to client success while acting as the primary client contact and being responsible for ensuring pre-market regulatory approvals and other work products are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within the proposed budget
Marketing your expertise and identifying potential new opportunities for growing book of business and maintaining an established client network and independently managing those client relationships

Salary Transparency Statement
At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $160,000 and $260,000. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as a commissioning agent of mechanical systems including cooling/heating systems, plumbing, fire, fuel oil, and BMS systems in a variety of environments.

Additional Information
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $86,000 - $135,000 annually and does not include bonuses, overtime or other forms of compensation or benefits. The Aerospace Corporation is hiring a Sensor Performance and Data Processing Engineering Grad Intern for the Radar Processing and Analysis Department (RPAD) in the Mission Payloads Division (MPD), a world-class engineering and scientific leader in electronics and remote sensing systems. Position will be full-time and 100% on-site at our office in Chantilly, VA.

The RPAD team is based in Chantilly and collaborates on multiple projects with the Radar and Signal Systems Department (RSSD), their ESD counterpart in El Segundo, CA.. They specialize in solving technical challenges covering Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image formation processing, Space and Ground Radar system modeling (antenna modeling, transmit and receive chain modeling, etc.), Moving Target Indication (MTI), maritime surveillance, electronic warfare, signal processing, and algorithm development for advanced SAR image products.

What You'll Be Doing
* Applying simulation and analysis tools and techniques for SAR sensor performance, image chain modeling, and/or product quality metrics.
* Applying best practices for modeling & simulation software development to augment existing software capabilities.
* Creating and evolving image formation processors to improve product quality and investigate innovative applications of advanced remote sensing products.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum requirements include:
* Currently enrolled full-time at an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a MS or PhD degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Geophysics, or another related discipline.
* Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term and ability to return to a degree program full- time after completion of the internship.
* Strong scientific programming skills in at least one of: Python, C++, Matlab, IDL, etc.
* Knowledge, coursework and/or prior internship working with RF or radar systems
* Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
* Experience with signal and/or image processing of remote sensing data.
* RF or radar system modeling, simulation, data processing, calibration, characterization, or applications.
* Computation of sensor performance figures of merit (e.g., SNR, IPR).
* Evaluation of sensor hardware performance.
* Experience with space-based systems.
