Work tasks are physical and include bending, lifting, standing, and walking. Work tasks are repetitive, such as loading and stacking bags weighing up to 50-70 pounds. At times, these tasks will be completed in harsh weather conditions (heat, rain, snow). We practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Some of your daily tasks include:
+ Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, in addition to being responsible for timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
+ Safeguard Cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather.
+ Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
+ Operate baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination.
Ramp Seasonal Agents work between 20 to 40 hours per week and 150 and 800 hours per year. Seasonal work will depend on the operational need of the station and location. Recalls can happen at any time during the calendar year based on operational demand.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Job Summary
The Ramp Services Supervisor oversees and coordinates ramp services operations, ensuring compliance with safety, security, and company standards. Manages staffing, training, and performance, including hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Maintains communication with airport officials and customers, monitors work quality, enforces TSA regulations, and ensures budgetary adherence. Promotes a respectful and equitable work environment while upholding operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Monitors the quantity and quality of work performance of assigned Air logistics personnel.
Directs personnel within assigned functional area.
Participates in the discipline, coaching, counseling, hiring and termination of subordinates; training subordinates.
Proactively monitors the work of assigned ramp employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standards.
Maintains and controls all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA requirements.
Ensures compliance with Company rules and regulations and contractual agreements.
Reads, understands and clarifies the implementation of the site-specific security plan and ensure that all WFS staff are issued with a relevant company ID and that they are required to display this identity badge.
Administers practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors and other third parties are treated with respect.
Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
1 year of related ramp supervisory experience and/or training.
Valid driver's license.
Preferred Skills
Previous logistics, manufacturing, warehousing experience that relied heavily on managing a structured process with strict deadlines
Familiarity with personal computer software is helpful.
Independent judgment and decision-making skills are required.
Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills.
Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

As an Air Logistics Ramp Associate you will contribute to the timely delivery of Express packages by loading and unloading of air freight containers, moving these containers from airplane to truck for on-time delivery to our customers at our airport location. This job is a cross-dock operation; your role is to move Express packages from aircraft to warehouse to trucks with no/minimal storage. Our indoor facility is an open-air environment and not temperature controlled, and you may work in or around aircraft. Job Summary Responsibilities
· Transport, load and unload air freight containers from aircraft within confined areas
· Push, pull and position loaded air freight containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs
· Removal of tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading
· Read "off-load" sheets to determine destination of Express packages
· Operating ramp equipment with gross weights of 3,000 to 80,000 lbs. in areas congested with aircraft, moving and stationary vehicles and equipment as well as positioning vehicle up to aircraft
· Engage in push-out of aircraft driving 80,000 lb. vehicle or assist by providing guide function to driver using depth perception in congested areas or speaking to cockpit during push-back procedure
· Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without, assistance of sight or visual aids
Minimum Requirements
. Valid Driver's license
· 18 years and older
· High School Diploma or GED or international equivalent.
· Ability to read, write and understand the English language
· Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), holidays, and days off. We have a Peak Season that may require longer hours.
