Rams Head Tavern company history timeline

1812

After Reynolds death in 1777, the building transitioned to a boarding house until the Farmers Bank of Maryland acquired the property in 1812.

1989

Since the first business opened in 1989, Rams Head has featured more than 100 beers from around the world at each restaurant location.

1995

The Muehlhausers purchased the brewery in June 1995 and relocated it to Dover, Del., where it produces several brands that are sold in Rams Head locations.

1995 – Fordham Brewing Company | Annapolis, MD In 1703, a man named Benjamin Fordham began the first industry of the new provincial capital, soon to be re-dubbed Annapolis.

1997 – Rams Head On Stage | Annapolis, MD

1999

Following in his father's footsteps, Kyle, now 29, opened the second tavern in 1999, in historic Savage Mill, a 19th-century textile mill between Baltimore and Washington.

2006 – Rams Head Shore House

2007

2007 – Pier Six Pavilion | Baltimore, MD In early 2007, Rams Head began booking and operation Pier Six Pavilion, located waterside in Baltimore.

2011

2011 – Silopanna Music Festival | Annapolis, MD

2012

In 2012, Silopanna Music Festival returned as the areas largest national music festival featuring more than 20 bands including CAKE, G.Love & Special Sauce, Citizen Cope, Robert Randolph and the Family Band.

2014

The 2014 Silopanna line-up featured The Flaming Lips, Dashboard Confessional, Matt & Kim, Eric Hutchinson, Sleeper Agent, Hellogoodbye and more.

2015

The company celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2015.

2016

In an interview with The Capital in January, McNaboe said the company planned to add another restaurant, acquire a Florida property in Key West, establish a county booking partnership and start work on a sixth location in 2016.

2019

In early 2019, Fordham & Dominion launched a new line of canned beer, a first for the brewery.
